Apparently 10.5.6 is a bit larger than the earlier versions 10.5.0-10.5.4 and requires a few more hoops to jump through to get it to load. EDIT: I know that I changed the RAM frequency from "AUTO" to "X.M.P" on my motherboard (Asus Sabertooth x79) Because when it was set to AUTO it simply recognized my RAM I don't feel you need to wipe out your existing drive with Lion on it...just yet.
