Verify the menu and other files transcode settings and see if you can play around with the bit rate. I am desparate to burn this HDV movie on Blu-ray. You are looking at the DVD transcode status, not bluray. BTW, Yes, 1440x1080 interlaced in 50i and 60i are both Blu-ray spec. I have not been able to get my motion menu to work however, sound yes, no picture. And my only worry with making a modest drop in the bit rate is the fact that I have to render out almost 20 files before I can test out my E7.40.4884 encodes to blu-ray using the MPEG2 exporter are OK, these separate .m2v and .ac3 files build fine in Encore.
