yum hangs without an error message, at least, so it appears... No, I'm on Direcway satellite. they can work but it is NOT the best OS for that use you need to run an update to get to 5.6 ( best bet is a new install cd Socket Error Errno 10048 selinux is on, but it's been on for years...
